  • Welcome toBlooming Light Photography
  • My aim in photography is to capture vibrant, glorious light in combination with the truest, most pure intimacy that my clients can reveal. My desire is to express my deepest insight through what I am creating, by sensing the invisible and bringing it to life. I love interacting with my couples and encouraging them to tap into their soul and just be themselves while they’re in front of my camera. I don’t consider photographs to be just what they look like, but rather, to be what they DO to us. What they make us feel, remember, relate to. Most of the time I work together with my husband, who is the one who inspires me and makes my soul overflow. To find more about us, check out our “about” page!

However, it’s time for me to come back with my feet on the ground, and start blogging the amazing weddings we had this year!! Hannah and Jelmer’s was our first. It took place one and a half month after I gave birthView full post »

Wedding in Den Alerdinck, Laag Zuthem

It sure took me a while to blog this wedding and, while I’m ashamed to only publish it now, I have to say I am also extremely grateful to our readers, for understanding the circumstances and having patience with my catching up. Suzanne and Bart’s wedding was everything an autumn wedding should be! It was an unbelievable September day, with plenty of sun, but the kind that gently hides between tree branches in the high noon, as if knowing that we’d need the beautiful light forView full post »
